Adopt Baby Woolly Monkeys Tini & Tapu

Meet Tini and Tapu - two baby woolly monkey best friends who were delivered to us by Tueri Wildlife Hospital,Quito in December 2023.

Thanks to the diligent care provided at Tueri, these two are Merazonia's first ever woolly monkeys which we have been able to take a hands-off approach with from such a young age. This is due to the fact that they spent so much time together prior to arriving to Merazonia, that they learned to depend on each other for the comforts and security they needed, rather than humans.

We hope we can continue this approach as they get older, as their cautiousness of humans will be extremely beneficial for their return to the wild when they’re older. Tiny & Tapu are now already part of a bigger group that is being prepped for release.

By symbolically adopting Tini & Tapu, you help us to give them the specialised care they need while in our care. It also gives us the opportunity to plan their future release (such as the requiered medical exams and release site preparations).
